Penn State Alum Joins the Ohio RTC

James Yonushonis will be training for 2012 Olympics

(Columbus, Ohio) - The Ohio Regional Training Center signed their fifth development athlete; James Yonushonis is moving to Columbus. A former Penn State All-American, he will be training with the Ohio RTC for the 2012 London Games. Yonushonis, 84kg-184.5lbs, left a position as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Maryland to make the move.

In this two part interview with James we asked him to discuss his twenty-year wrestling career. In the first interview we looked at wrestling in high school, his time at Penn State, and making the move into coaching. In the second interview we looked at his freestyle career, making the decision to compete after college, working with the Ohio RTC, and what it means to represent the United States.
