(Columbus, OH) - Mad River Wrestling Officials Associatio board member Jeff Sitler was a guest over the weekend on Takedown Radio to discuss the 2009 Wrestle Against Autism Tournament. Spending time discussing the tournament with host Scott Casber; Sitler talked about this year's tournament, the success of the 2008 event, their partnership with the Ohio State University Wrestling program, and Autism Awareness.
According to Casber; the WAA is one of two tournaments in the country specifically designed to help those with autism. The other being Pinning Down Autism, which is held in NYC.
This year the Wrestle Against Autism Tournament is going to give checks to two families in the local area that are in need of Autism Service Dogs through 4 Paws for Ability (www.4pawsforability.org)and make a donation to the Ethan Foundation for Autism (www.ethanforautism.org). The Wrestle Against Autism tournament will be held at St. John arena May 17th.
Special thanks to Scott Casber & the Takedown Radio crew for allowing us to archive Sitler's interview.
